Thank you for your response to help the people of “Anse-à-Veau,” South Haiti. In one area alone, 815 families were wiped out. Many people have died, especially children. Hubert and his team are out now traveling to different communities, assessing the damage and needs. Many have lost their homes!

This week, Hubert and the Love A Child team will be giving food to those homes that were severely damaged and have lost everything. We are also evacuating those who lost their home, and are checking to see how many. The last houses we built there were Gabion houses, and “not one of those was damaged!” They are very strong. I’m so impressed by how solid they are… plus, they’re “cool in the summer!”

We are praying for God’s wisdom on what to do. Our funds have fallen off due to all the turmoil here in Haiti. But, we can’t sit back and “not do anything to help the poor who have suffered through all these tragedies!” Love is something you do!
