Would you believe it if I told you our children wake up at 4:30 am to make sure they know their lessons before they go to school? In Haiti, kids are required to memorize many things and know all of their lessons. They do a lot of repetitions to make sure they have it down perfectly! When they get back from school they spend the afternoon doing “tutoring.” Children in Haiti are very dedicated when it comes to education, as they know it is a privilege to go to school!
