Hannah Jean Jules was born in the mountains of Demesseau, Haiti. Her father was a poor farmer, and when Hannah’s mother died, he knew that he couldn’t raise her by himself… Hannah was in poor health and had severe malnutrition, so he brought her to our orphanage. Hannah knows very little about her family or where they are, etc. Her family here at Love A Child is the only family she has ever known.

Hannah is 16 years old and in the 9th grade. She LOVES to sing! She is an excellent student!!! She is always helping the “room mothers,” and is very considerate! She wants to find a way to “help people” who have nothing. Hannah’s favorite thing to do, besides singing, is cooking!!! She is an excellent cook!!! She is still thinking and praying about the future and what she would like to do, but Hannah can do anything she puts her mind to. She is basically a quiet girl, very sweet! There is just something “special” about Hannah!!! She is a sweetie and we love her. She is warm and loving!!! Sherry
