Hannah Jean was born in the mountains of Demesseau, Haiti. Her mother died when Hannah was a baby, and Pastor Emmanuel, a mountain pastor, brought her down to us. We took her in. Hannah was suffering from severe malnutrition, and it took a long time for her to “catch up.”

Hannah has finished high school, and now, she wants to follow her heart “cooking!” Just look at all the delicious Haitian food she and the other cooks have made!! Haitians love to eat a nice meal on Sunday! “If” they have things to cook, they will always save their best meal for Sunday!

Hannah has followed her heart! She is in her kitchen, in “our orphanage where she grew up,” and she could not ask for anything more! All Haitians save money, so I know Hannah will be saving the small amount of money she gets each month! Now, I need to pray that God will send her a good husband!! (Smile)
