It’s my turn to tell you a few things about Bobby… God could not have given me a better husband, father of my children, and grandfather. To the people of Haiti, he is called, Boss, Poppie, Dad, and even “Da Da.” Bobby has such a love for the Haitian people and children. He loves Haiti! Nini, our cook, loves to cook for Bobby! She calls him her “big Boss,” and she has a genuine love for Bobby. All the kids in our orphanage call him Dad or Poppie. The older girls love to comb his hair, do his nails, or just hang on him. The boys want to go “where Poppie goes.”

I met Bobby when I was 17 and he was 18, under a gospel tent. That night, I asked him to come to the Valentine’s Banquet at our church. Also, that night, he asked me to marry him! We dated two years, got married, and began a ministry on the “street corners.” Bobby has been an evangelist, pastor, and missionary. He is kind, gentle, and good to everyone. And as you see him on TV (with his Southern drawl), that is just “Bobby.” He is “down to earth,” but he is also “commonly brilliant!” God’s favor is upon him. We all love him so much! “Happy Birthday, Baby!” We all love you!
