“That’s a lot of Girls to Watch!!”

Today is Lovely’s Birthday. She is the third one from the right in the white dress. In this area of Haiti, there’s not a lot of places to go for a birthday party that is safe, due to political unrest. But, they love going to Farmer John’s Restaurant (formerly Epi d’Or) inside Gwo Maché Mirak (Grand Miracle Market).

There’s a Creole Proverb that says, “It’s easier to watch over a drum full of rats than a handful of girls!!” Ha! Ha! Maybe there’s something to that… I think “Mommie and Poppie” are gonna sneak over and surprise them! Ha!
