Happy New Year from Haiti, to all our Love A Child friends! This is the biggest holiday for Haitians in addition to Easter! All Haitians believe that the coming year will be better than the last.

No matter how poor, they try to save enough money so that they can make “pumpkin soup” for their families on January 1st. But this year, our Haitian workers and family members don’t want to make “pumpkin soup” until our Haitian staff and Haitian children come back from their kidnappers. We believe this will happen any day! Please keep them in your love and prayers. This has been very sad and stressful for all of us.
