Many people have asked us what we need the most at our orphanage. The answer is “dress clothes and play clothes,” for the boys. Girls are easier to care for than boys. Girls like to stay clean and cute, but boys like to get dirty! Haitian kids love to go barefoot. They want to wear flip-flops, but they are hard on flip-flops! We are in real need of play clothes, outdoor clothes for boys, ages 3-18… Shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes, and dress pants and dress shirts for church. Anything on sale and anything you can find on Amazon.

Boys age 16 and up, all sizes, any sizes of dress pants for church and shorts for every day. We also need tennis shoes and dress shoes, of any size. One of our little boys had on a pair of shorts too big for him and he had a “rope” tied around his waist to keep his “britches” up! Ha! So, belts, too, of all sizes!

Haitian kids are rough on clothes. Unlike most American kids who relax on a couch with their iPhones, these kids want to play outside, and they get dirty real fast!
