Help Haitians Learn Sustainable Gardening Methods

When your children are hungry every day, and your family has little hope for a better tomorrow, imagine what a difference it would make if you could only raise a little garden of nutritious, life-giving food from your own garden.

Haitians want to be self-sustaining and certainly want to end their constant nagging daily hunger, so consider helping some of them learn simple, sustainable gardening methods by sending them to our upcoming class on sustainable gardening in Haiti. We have room for eight more students to come to our next Agricultural Training Center (ATC) training class. It is a three-week residential class for the students to come from different areas around Haiti to live, learn, work, and worship together at our ATC.

During the three-week class, they will learn many sustainable gardening methods, giving them the ability to provide food and nutrition for their families. They will learn about making good soil, seedbed preparation, proper irrigation, using mulches and compost, natural insecticides, and fertilizers. These students will gain knowledge and confidence that will give them pride in being able to take care of their families. If you are an organization operating in Haiti and want to send students to our class, please contact our office for more information. We will send you a registration form and other information. We are ready to hold the next class when we get enough students registered. If you are a donor who understands the life-changing opportunity to help hungry people for generations and wants to help sponsor students in this course, please donate to our ATC scholarships.

God is always faithful to bless those who consider and bless the poor, and our sustainable agriculture programs are a great way to do that for the long-term. Please consider sending your students to this program.
