TOUCHING STORY FROM THIS WEEK:

This week, we found 26-year-old Magdala Laurent and her three-month-old baby living in the woods under a makeshift lean-to, made of banana leaves. When it rained Magdala put her baby under a small plastic wash basin called a “kivet” to keep him warm and dry. Hubert and our Love A Child team reacted immediately by erecting a tent, providing clothes for the baby, sheets, rice, beans, and oil. For a living, Magdala makes sleeping mats out of straw for $1.13 each, sold in the local market, a total income of $3.39 per week. Thank you for your prayers and support. Love is something you do!
