Jameson… He’s a sweetie!

Little Jameson is so, so sweet and obedient. He is never any trouble. Here he is on his way in from playing soccer, washing his hands, and smiling, as always. He loves to sing, and he loves to try to play soccer!! Jameson looks good now, but you should have seen how bad he was when he came to live with us. His face was broken out in sores from the front of his ears to even his private areas. We have taken him to many doctors because as soon as we can get him cleaned up and healed, in about a month or two, he breaks out again. Then we have to take him to the clinic, and they have to scrub him down with Betadine. I was told by a doctor that this is from a transmitted herpes virus. Whatever it is, it can eventually be controlled, but then he’ll break out with this skin disease again in about a month. He is so sad when this happens.

He is a bright boy! In school he always makes good grades and his teachers love him! At home, he is always “looking for work!” When he smiles, he melts your heart, and you just want to grab him and hug him. His mother lives in a small village across the lake and comes to visit once in a while, but she knows that her village is extremely dry and dusty, and this causes the infection to become worse much more quickly.
