He’s Already “Got the Job!”

Fritzner Burnette is one of the sweetest young teenage boys I have ever met! He is now 13 years old and in fifth grade! He is so sweet and quiet. He is gentle and loves to help the “moms” in the kitchen! (He’s not dumb! Ha!) Fritzner was born in Covant, high in the mountains…in fact, you have to ride a mule to make it up there!!

His mother died when he was four months old; everyone says it was the “fever” that killed her. His father abandoned him, and the Pastor brought him down to us. Fritzner is a typical “Haitian boy.” He loves soccer and basketball. But, strangely enough, he loves to work. He is quiet and steady and gets the job done! I love that! He is also shy, and sometimes, he stands there and “wants a hug.” We can just look at him and know that he will go far in his life. He wants to be a teacher at a Love A Child School!! He’s got the job!!

We love this kid!
