Breaking News:

We just received a phone call five minutes ago from Nelio Barthelemy, our Haitian Director. He was calling us from the area in Haiti called, “L’Artibonite.” We call this area a little nickname, “Bethel,” but years ago the people called it “Babylon!” This is a huge area, but very, very poor. Nelio was born in this area, in a village called, “L’Estère.” The first four children we brought into our lives, came from here. We began our orphanage with these first four children from this area.

We have a very, very large Christian school there, and have been working here for many, many years. This was the place we held our “first Mobile Clinic!” We just talked to Nelio and he is there with his team, doing a huge feeding program and also giving the parents some “Feed My Starving Children food.” Nelio picked up this food over a week ago, and we are so glad he did because we are nearly out of food! Containers are hard to find right now, and as a result, everything is slow to get to us.

God bless you, dear friends, and partners! We wish we had the pictures to show you, but actually, Nelio left quickly to go to this area, because he and his crew have to go through dangerous “gang areas,” so, they left quickly.
