This week, Hubert, his wife, and our Love A Child team cooked 225 delicious, hot meals for the prisoners, men and women. Fifteen of the prisoners have died of starvation. Many of the prisoners could not walk but only crawl because they were so weak. I had a hard time sleeping last night thinking about this.

Haiti has 11,000 prisoners in 19 prisons who live in inhumane, crowded conditions. I’m hearing that the government of Haiti is not giving food to the prisons.

We are God’s voice, hands, and feet to feed the hungry.

“Naked, Ye clothed me: I was sick, and Ye visited me: I was in prison, and Ye came unto me.” Matt 25:36

Sherry and I, along with our team, will be visiting these prisoners around the 23rd of this month. We will be bringing more food for these and many other families in the area.

Please pray we will have a safe trip. If we have ever needed your prayers and support to help the Haitian people, we need it now more than ever. Our hearts are broken.
