The beautiful young lady here is Widelene. We took her and her sister and mother into our Orphanage when Widelene was about four. She has matured into a devout Christian, sweet, and very organized!!

She and her “sisters” organized the whole Vacation Bible School!

When we were kids, we never did “Vacation Bible School” this way, but things have changed! Widelene, pictured above, asked if the older girls could plan this year’s Vacation Bible School, and we told them, “Go ahead!”

After church and Jesus music, they were outdoors for hours… they played rope games and games I have never heard of! They borrowed our LAC kids’ “water slide” (which is on its last leg), but the kids didn’t mind! It was hot, and they loved the water! They played the “rope games,” “tug-of-war,” and, of course, had a water balloon toss! It was so hot, but the kids had a ball!

Today is the last day of a very successful Vacation Bible School! Our LAC children have done a great job!
