Jackets for Gobert: 3-23-19 8:00 AM

We work here in Haiti in many “hard-to-reach” mountain places… one of these is “Gobert.” It gets very cold in the winter months. When we go up there, we see little children and mothers, with bare arms, crossed, and shaking in the cold. Fathers work hard in their fields to try to grow some food, but the soil is poor.

Jesus said, “I was naked, and ye clothed me…” So, when we give one warm jacket or warm sweatshirt, to a poor person in Haiti, we share God’s love. These jackets are new, and they came to us through World Vision. We are still distributing them because we want to make sure these nice, warm jackets, and hoodies, etc., get to the people who need them the most.

We had this distribution through Pastor Souffrance. He had to pack everything in large boxes and pay motorbikes to carry the boxes all the way to Peyi Pouri! What a feat!!! But, he did it!

We want to say, “thanks to World Vision,” and thank you to the company who made them and gave them to World Vision to share with missionaries like us! God bless you, each partner, because “you,” helped us with the funds to bring these items in, all the way from the states and get through “Haiti Customs!” You all are awesome!! Sherry
