Jackson is doing a little better today. He is fighting for his very life, but he is hanging in there! This kid is an indescribable battle, but he is resilient. His faith is strong!

We just prayed together again. I asked him if he has the faith to get out of here. He said, “Yes!” I asked him if he loves Jesus. He said, “Yes!” His weak body has endured great hardship in the past few days, months, and years. But he is determined to keep confronting this illness with determination and faith.

I am reminded of the Bible passage in Ephesians 6. We are admonished to put on the whole armor of God. And “having done all to stand, stand!”

Jackson is continuing to “stand.” Despite the onslaught of this horrible disease, he is not giving up. His body is weak, his frame beaten up and scarred. But he has unwavering faith. He is trusting in God!
