Jackson is out of surgery! Praise God all went well. Both hernias were repaired, and the prognosis is good. He is currently recovering in his hospital room and getting some much-needed rest.

But he is not out of the woods yet. For the next three days, he cannot be put on peritoneal dialysis. The dialysis fluids will be too much pressure on the surgery sites. Without dialysis and without renal function, Jackson will not be able to eat any protein, and his liquid intake will be strictly controlled.
