His mother died when he was very young, and his father could not care for Wilguens and his sister Fabiola. Sometimes their father left them alone for days at a time while he tried to find work. The two siblings were malnourished! He took the children to Social Services here in Haiti and they called us and asked us to take them. We took both of them in.
Wilguens is now 14, and is “growing like a weed!” He is quiet but he thinks a lot! He will be going into 8th grade and when he finishes all his classes he wants to be a good “mechanic!” I hope he makes it because he is so very shy. All of “our loves” love Wilguens!
