A Future Love A Child Accountant

James has been with us since his mother died, soon after he was born. His father could not care for him and brought him and his brother to us. James is quiet, always studying, and never worries if someone says something bad about him. He tells the children, “it’s not worth worrying about bad words people say about you.” He is very mature. The kids at the children’s home gave him a nickname, “Ti Pigeon,” or “little pigeon!”

He loves soccer, basketball, and has a competitive spirit. He and Widlene (one of the older girls) have always been competitive about their grades because they have been in the same classes!! James has a passion for music and photography! Just recently, he let us know that he wanted to enroll in a university in Haiti to study economics and accounting. He is going to test at Quisqueya University. This is a tough university but one of the best and has good professors. James wants to be the “best!” Here he is, photographed with Haiti’s economist, Mr. Etzner Emile.

James is humble, sweet, and thankful! We are so proud of him!!! He will succeed in whatever he wants to do! We love him so, so much!!! This is “the future of Haiti!”
