Dear friends, here is a note that we just received via email from Jean Richard. He is one of our Haitian children. He came to us after the 2010 earthquake when his handicapped orphanage was destroyed. Afterward, when help arrived to move the children to another orphanage, we wanted him to stay with us. He has developed an amazing “gift from God” to play the piano. We decided to send him to a “special college” here in Haiti to study music and computers! He will graduate today, but sadly enough, we cannot attend because we would have to go through gang territory. If you ever wonder if “your love and giving heart” has made a difference, read his note to us. Thank you, partners! – Bobby and Sherry
Dear Mom and Dad, Hello!! Hello!! Mommy and Daddy, how are you? I hope you are well with Jesus. Dear Mommy, I am happy to be able to present before you to thank you for all the bad times we know in our life to be able to pay the school for me. I recognize that, without you, I would not have been able to reach this level. I thank God for giving us health so that we can help all those who have the will to move forward in their lives. As for me, I try hard not to make you ashamed of me, now it’s time to graduate in informatics and I have to take a degree in music, and I feel really happy to be among the graduates. I want to let you know that tomorrow, Friday, December 8, 2023, at 10 AM I will graduate. I am proud of you. I have no words to thank all of your staff. Please, dear Mom, I love you. It is your son Richard.
