She is now 17 and in 12th grade! When she was a baby, her parents had left on a “Haitian boat” headed for the States. The boat capsized, and they drowned. The baby was cared for by her aunt. She also had a sister, Bianca, and a brother, Raphael, but her aunt had no way to continue to feed and care for them. We offered to take them in.

Jessica (Ada) wants to be a doctor. In the meantime, she loves to cook and is always in the kitchen! Ada (Jessica) will always reach her dream! She will make a wonderful doctor, here at Love a Child.
