Job is one of the sweetest and kindest teenage boys. His mother died when he was young and in Haiti. When a mother dies, the child is almost always considered an orphan. Last year, he developed a rare condition in his leg and was in pain and could not walk. His condition was so serious that we had to take him to the Dominican Republic. He had an infection inside his bone from his kneecap down. He had to have major surgery to open the bone, clean it out, and fill it with a “glue-like” substance. He recovered and went home to our orphanage. But now, it is time for him to go back and have the “glue scraped out,” through surgery. But, the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic is closed and we don’t know when it will open.
This is a very serious situation. We have “Jackson,” also, who will need to return to his doctors in the D.R. due to his kidney disease. So, when you pray, please add, “Lord, we pray that you will touch the heart of the President of the Dominican Republic, to open the border between Haiti and the D.R.!”
Thank you for your love, your support, and your prayers, Bobby and Sherry
