“Is this that little slave boy that was working in the fields, beside the grown men? Is this that same little boy who had never slept in a bed, never had a toy, never held a pencil in his hand? Is this that little boy who was beaten because he wasn’t working hard enough? Is this that little boy who had never had a full meal?” Yes, but this is the “new Jonas!” He is now learning his ABCs and how to count with his special teacher, Mdm Raphael. He has a nice clean bed, a shower, three meals a day, and lots of brothers and sisters!!

I noticed him one night at church and how he was playing perfect beat with his fingers! So I thought, “We should get him bongo drums, and from there, he can learn drums and keyboard!!”

Jonas is one of the sweetest children I have ever known. He has blessed us more than words could express, and yes, we all love Jonas!!
