Have you ever prayed and prayed and thought that God had forgotten you?

Here is what the Lord told His people in Isaiah 41:10:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Many years ago before we built Love A Child, we had to walk a long way through one mountain village to another far away. Our truck had broken down and it couldn’t have been worse! It was dark and raining. We were slipping and sliding through muddy mountain roads in the dark. We kept slipping and sliding in the mud! It was so deep and every step we took, we sank down in the mud! We walked for hours through villages and the Haitians did not trust the white people walking through their villages at night. Finally, in the distance, we could see “small lights!” We knew we could get help!

All that while, walking at night, not being able to speak the language well, God was always there! In your darkest hour, when you cannot see anything, He is still there with you, protecting you, loving you, and working things out, for you! He “has the lights turned on for you,” and He is waiting on you! Today will be a good day! God bless you.
