Our older Haitian children have learned to work hard… whether it’s “working hard in college, or working hard when they come for a visit,” there’s always work to do! Just a week ago, Lovely and Bianca, two of our college girls, came home for a visit. They happened to come when we had just set up a “huge” feeding program for the Haitian children and for families. Bianca and Lovely “jumped right in” and helped the cooks! They also worked alongside our grown boys to help prepare the plates of hot meals for the children! Our older LAC boys (young men) were first on the spot to set up the feeding area, to begin to unload, and to distribute large sacks of rice and beans! We have older children who are in college also, but didn’t have the means to come! We pray that God keeps His hand on them all; we were glad to have the ones who could get away!
