Our faithful Komatsu “loader” has moved a lot of dirt here at Love A Child. But today, one tire decided it was time to retire!

George was getting started on smoothing the rough terrain outside our gate when the tire “gave up the ghost.” The inner wall split completely open. Even our attempt to put a tube inside couldn’t bring it back to life!

We use this loader every day, so getting it rolling again is a big need. Our mechanic, Joker, found a used tire in the Dominican Republic for $1,300 that would get us back to work. Ultimately, we need a full set of four new tires, which cost about $3,500 each here.

We are believing God for the immediate replacement so we can get going quickly. But I am praying for a new set we can purchase in the Dominican Republic or ship from the United States. Perhaps you, or someone you know, could help!

Thank you for supporting Love A Child. You help keep the work moving, even when the tires don’t!
