Samuel is now 17. He is from the mountains of Greffin, Haiti, where we have a church and school. Like many women in Haiti, his mother died during childbirth. She had left behind six children and a husband who worked the fields. His father was not able to care for Samuel and brought the baby to us… with his eyes full of tears.

Samuel is a great young man who loves his siblings here and is kind and gentle to everyone. He is always helping, always working. He is now in 8th grade. Of course, he is good at soccer and basketball! He loves art and drawing… He especially loves music and plays the drums. We all love Samuel!!! He has been in our life since he was an infant!!! He is still thinking and praying about what he will do with his life. We all love Samuel!!
