This beautiful young lady is Kristela. She was born in the remote village of Savaan Pit, which is high in the mountains. We were conducting a Mobile Medical Clinic and Kristela’s “Voodoo practicing,” and very sick mother came for help. She was in bad shape. I gave her medicine, prayed for her and shared the love of Christ. Kristela’s mother left the clinic, and died twelve days later. Her husband wasn’t able to care for Kristela, so he brought her to our Children’s Home. When she arrived, Kristela was near death herself. She was sickly, malnourished and very weak. Her hair was red, brittle and falling out. Once Kristela felt the love of her brothers and sisters, and received hot nourishing meals each day, she started improving. Today, she is healthy, strong and loves being with her big family. Thank you partners for saving another child in Haiti. God bless you. Sherry
