This is what “breaks the heart of God!” This is a family we call the “Tisson Family.” We met them in the garbage dump months ago. Mr. Tisson searches through the garbage to try to find little pieces of wire or a small battery so that he can sell these things for “light.” His children also search the dump for other things… thrown away food, rotten meat, moldy bread. It would make you sick to your stomach to see these conditions. We gave them food and some money, and enough extra for Papa to buy a cell phone to be able to call me. I told him we would help him. But he used the “cell phone money” for more food, so we lost track of him for a long time.
