We continue this week with food distributions. The Haitian gourdes have risen to 92 gourdes per U.S. dollar, so everything in Haiti has gone up… especially food! There are virtually no jobs for the poor… most mothers sell little items, wash clothes, or find sticks for charcoal. Poor mothers must make a choice between medical care and food; therefore, their children cannot go to school. We are so thankful to be able to share the food we receive each month, and we are thankful that one of our partners sponsored a “container of black beans,” which cost $13,000 and included shipping! We are still distributing those black beans, and the people love them!!! Thank you, partners! Bobby and Sherry
