In many of the poor villages in Haiti, mothers, babies, or even both die in childbirth due to unsanitary conditions. Can you imagine that under two hours from the shores of Miami, mothers are delivering babies with the use of a “tin can lid,” or a “rusty razor blade?” I have seen it with my own eyes.
