We had everything prepared for our Mobile Medical Clinic in Old Letant, but the heavy rains last night have made it impossible. We will try again when the mud roads dry out.
In the meantime, we took food to Pastor Claude’s Children’s Home right up the road from us. Our new missionaries, Doug and Jessica Lackey, were with us along with Dieuferly, one of our Love A Child kids who now does our photography. We had a great time with Pastor Claude’s children; they are sweet, loving, and very appreciative! They were singing a song about how they “love” tipanou (the Feed My Starving Children food).
We took some handmade clothing from some of our partners, Kim and Janice. Each piece of clothing was a real treat to these precious children!! We wish things were safer in Haiti and that groups could come and visit the orphanage and work on construction teams and Mobile Medical Clinics, but things are not safe at all. Today, some traffic was moving and it was “quiet,” but things will soon heat up again unless we get some real help. Thank you for your prayers!!
Thank you so much, partners!! Without your help, we could not remain in Haiti. And without your help, many lives would be lost. Sherry
