GOOD NEWS! The semi-truck and container full of food for the poor Haitian people have made it to the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic!!

BAD NEWS! Customs at the border is closed! They may open for a little while tomorrow, but they don’t know when they will open. With all of the turmoil, roadblocks, shootings… It’s hard for the customs agents to travel to work. Most people are scared to travel.

We had to send our backup semi-truck last evening because Joker could not repair the gears there. Our semi-truck and container were sitting on the side of a steep hill with cars, and trucks coming by at fast speeds. Our two Haitian sons had to stand there all night with flashlights at each end to warn the traffic to slow down. The Dominicans and Haitians drive fast! Thank you for your prayers!

Listen to this… They took our “backup semi-truck” and hooked it to our container. They took the broken semi-truck and put it in the back of our container and hooked a chain to it. Our backup semi-truck pulled the heavy food container, plus our broken semi-truck, all at one time. What a powerful engine! Wow! Casimir is a great driver! He pulled it all the way to the border, but the border Customs is closed!!!

What now? We have security guards watching over our container full of food. They will be there all night. We are praying and hoping that Customs will open tomorrow. Please pray!
