Today, Pastor Souffrance from Peyi Pouri came to thank us for the food we have been sending up there each month. It is a very, very tough area to take food. It is on the top of a high mountain, and you must have “four-wheel drive trucks,” or “four-on-the-floor” mountain mules!!! Pastor Souffrance “rented” ten mules and got two more… these people and children are also helping to carry heavy loads for us to build a house for a large family of eight children and their father. Everyone has worked so hard carrying buckets of sand, rock, gravel, and tin on their heads, etc. Now, they have a big box of food, which is worth a lot to them and their hungry children.

It all comes down to a loving God, who speaks to His children to give and to go. When we all “put our hands together,” we can change lives!!! Thank you, partners, for every box of food you have sponsored. This food is donated to us from our friends at “Feed My Starving Children” and it is “you” who sponsor this wonderful food to come all the way from the States, through Miami, and then by ship to Haiti. Then we have to get it out of Haitian Customs and transport it to Love A Child!!
