Many people ask me, “What is your next project?” Our next project here on our land at Love A Child is to build a much bigger Jesus Healing Center (clinic) for the poor Haitians. It will be at least twice the size of the one we have now. I believe we have 47 on staff, including 8 doctors and several more nurses. We are thankful to Joyce Meyer Ministries: Hand of Hope who support the expenses, salaries of the clinic staff each month, and to pay for and buy the medicine. Without them, it would be really hard. The clinic has been turning away at least 150 people a day. They can only see so many each day. For the last three weeks, our clinic attendance has dropped 90% because all of the Haitians have been scared to come because of all the trouble in Haiti. Sherry, Mark, Kaeli, along with the LAC doctors and nurses are in a planning meeting right now for the future clinic to be built. We are working on the design now. Haitians come for many miles on foot, tap tap, any way they can get here… Every person who comes to the clinic we pray for. We have a full-time pastor who does nothing but pray and comfort the Haitians while they are waiting. They start lining up outside the clinic at 4:00 a.m. in the morning. The Jesus Healing Center opens at 7:00 a.m. each morning, Monday through Friday. Mr. Nixon is the clinic director and does a great job! He is so full of love and kindness… Faith doesn’t know we don’t have all the money! We DO have a matching grant already! PTL!
