For the last week, since Jackson returned from the Dominican Republic doctor visits, the main “mother of our Orphanage,” Madam Natanalyel, has had to take a picture of his navel twice a day and send it to Jesse, who forwards this information on to Jackson’s doctor…
This was Jesse’s latest email concerning Jackson… Looks like Jackson will have to go right back. (He is missing school, and he really hates that).

Bobby and Sherry,
I received a message from the lead doctor in the Dominican Republic late last night. She was alarmed at a test result.
Late last week, Jackson had a culture of the spent dialysis solution analyzed at the lab. This type of test always takes a few days to get the results back. They do it every six months. I got the results back yesterday morning and forwarded them to the doctors.
Dr. Polanco contacted me late last night and wants him back in Santo Domingo. She said the culture shows an infection that needs intervention. He is on ciprofloxacin right now. She put him on it as a caution, just in case. But now she wants to see him ASAP.
I told her I could not make it until at least Monday. I called Philemon last night. I also informed the nurses that one of them would need to go.
Best,
Jesse
Dear friends and partners,
Let’s put Jackson on our hearts and on our prayer list.
Thank you,
Sherry
