Do you remember Jackson, the little boy we found during our last Mobile Medical Clinic in Savaan Pit?  At seven, he was suffering from Kwashiorkor malnutrition, and his stomach, feet, legs and face were all horribly swollen. This type of malnutrition came from not eating the right kind of foods. He had been eating solely things like rice, flour, and had not eaten protein since he was very young. We brought him to our Love A Child Orphanage and began feeding him a more balanced diet. He received good care and started improving quickly. He is healthy now and attending school.
