Welcome, Pastor Mark Ostrander arrived at Love A Child yesterday.
This week he is working on the “staff housing duplex,” “two different future team buildings,” and a “computer study building” for the older children.
Today is preparation for Florence… a big College Graduation day tomorrow. We are so proud of her!! What she had to go through to get this far, is truly amazing. Tomorrow at 3:00 PM is her Graduation. We’ll take pictures for you. Remember… Rome, Italy, is 6 hours forward from our time [ET].
On Thursday, we will be spending an “all day sightseeing” at the Roman Coliseum, the Vatican, and other places. Be looking for pictures!!! We love history…
Friday morning at daylight, we’ll be flying out to Haiti through the back door.
Love is something you do!!
Note: Italians are very gracious, and friendly. Very nice people. We love them!
The Italians love their coffee and pastries. Coffee/pastry shops are everywhere.
Hundreds of pastries to choose from. They love their spaghetti and pizza!
The elevator to our room here, I would say, is “less than three feet wide.” Two people can’t stand shoulder to shoulder. The good news is it gets you up and down!
