Yesterday we had the worst travel day of our lifetime! We left Haiti yesterday morning, traveling by road straight to the Santo Domingo Airport, a 4 1/2-hour drive in the rain. We flew from the Santo Domingo Airport to Miami to catch our next flight. All the American flights were on time. When we landed in Miami, the nightmare started! Global Entry was closed! This never happens! The immigration line through customs was “hundreds and hundreds of people” long! The line was backed up out of customs/immigration and down the aisles of the airport!!

We did not see TSA agents anywhere! Most of the immigration people were not working. I don’t know what was going on. The ones that were there working did a good job with what they had to deal with. I commend them. We arrived at our house in Florida at 3 a.m. this morning.

This week we have our “Love A Child Board Meeting.” Sherry has two doctor appointments. Will be returning to Haiti within the next few days. Through all of this we had the peace of the Lord and knew He had it all under control! John14:27
