Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and comments. We are now here, safe in Lake Arrowhead, California, to be with our family on Thanksgiving.
Comments along the route: The Port-Au-Prince Airport is closed due to gangs shooting at airplanes. We left our Orphans’ home, then crossed the border of the Dominican Republic and drove several hours to Santo Domingo.
Yesterday, our AA Airlines plane took off on time at 1:29 for Miami. We couldn’t believe there were “no lines” and not many people at all in the Santo Dominican Airport.
We were “dreading Miami and the long lines, which we knew would be there!” We passed through immigration in about “one minute” with our Global Card. We were also “dreading the long TSA line” in order to be checked for our next flight in the U.S. PTL! The TSA line was only about three minutes long!
Where was everyone at? There were no crowds at all at the Miami International Airport! Next flight to Phoenix, AZ (a 4.5-hour flight) to change planes for Ontario, CA.
Our son met us at the airport, and off to Lake Arrowhead we went! We had a perfect flight all the way!
Thank you, Lord! Today, Sherry will be helping Julie, our daughter-in-law, to prepare the Thanksgiving meal for tomorrow. We are thankful to the Lord for all his blessings.
Good news! We had another “Feed My Starving Children Container,” 272,000 meals cross the Dominican Republic border yesterday, and it came “rolling in to Love A Child!”
Thank you, Philemond, George, and Carlson, for your hard work.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We love you!
Bobby and Sherry
