We had another load of solar panels come in from Port-au-Prince now for a total of 1,184.
DigitalKap Solar, which is putting in our solar, has containers on the ocean with lithium batteries, inverters, etc., right now heading this way from America. They must go through the Dominican Republic and then on into Haiti.
Sometime in April, we are hoping to have full 24-hour solar power!!
Having solar power is urgent. Many times, Haiti has diesel shortages for the country. And, many times, we have to pay for black-market diesel, which is expensive. The stress of trying to have the diesel tankers come this way through the gangs… We’ve had the entire diesel tanker kidnapped before, which makes the company afraid to travel to come out this way.
We have no electricity out here.
Without diesel which we are almost near empty again, the Jesus Healing Center, Birthing Center, Malnutrition Center, Orphan’s Home, plus so many other buildings will be in the dark.
Count your blessings wherever you may be that you can flip the light switch and have electricity!
I’m writing this post from my heart. We’ve paid half down on the solar panel system. After the solar panel system has arrived and been installed, we have seven days to pay a very large balance. Please pray and help financially the best you can.
Thank you for your support and prayers…
