Sherry and I are now in Florida preparing for our Love A Child board meeting in Fort Myers, Florida. The Bible says, “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14) We are thankful for a wonderful board, men, and women full of wisdom and love for the Haitian people.

Pray for Casimi, our semi-container truck driver, as he goes to the port today in Port-au-Prince to pick up a container full of 1500 bags of premium rice, weighing 27.5 pounds each. We hear that there has been a lot of shootings in this area today. Gangs rule many areas of Haiti, and it’s very dangerous. Please pray for Casimi’s safety. We are always on edge when he is bringing the food to Love A Child. You should hear some of his stories! The angels of the Lord have to be with Casimi! Next week, we have two containers of “Feed My Starving Children meals” coming in. These two containers will come into a different, much safer port to operate out of.

Also, next week Jesse and Kim Ostrander and Sherry and I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic for four days to work with the Haitians and the Dominicans and then returning to Haiti. We miss the children!
