As we entered the large parking lot in front of the church here in Fond Parisien, we were the “only car on the lot!” Nearly all Haitians walk or take a “moto!” Regardless of how they get here, our “Love A Child” church is always full! Each Sunday, the church is beautifully decorated! Haitians always “wear their best” to the house of the Lord!

In the Bible, Jesus always “blessed the little children!” The Haitian children “love to go to church, and so do all our Love A Child kids! Regardless, the Haitian poor “dress their best,” and pay their tithes and offerings, no matter how small! These previous people “love to give!” After lots of great singing, there’s usually lots of praise going on and “some dancing,” while clapping their hands! Haitians are taught to “make a joyful noise,” and while clapping their hands, they have a “two-step,” in their feet!! Nothing is boring in a Haitian worship service! They love the Lord, they love to give, and they love the “fellowship” of other Christians! Remember the Haitian people, as you go to church next Sunday, and let’s pray and believe in God, that there will be peace all over Haiti.
