To most Haitians, church is their life! They will all “dress their best” for church! The younger teen girls and smaller will always wear “black shoes for church” with white socks!! They will never wear their “school shoes” to church! The younger boys, like Noah, can wear a shirt with no tie. But, “if you have a tie,” wear it!

The girls will be “all powdered up” with white talcum powder on their necks (boys too). This lets everyone know they’ve had a bath and they are “fresh!!” Teen boys and older boys like to wear a “jacket,” if they have one!! Church is a very serious thing here in Haiti! They love to “worship the Lord!”
