Letters to Santa…

Letters to Santa…

Bobby teases the children here at our “Children’s Home” each Christmas! Sometimes, he says, “Santa Claus is sick and he’s not coming this year…” or, “Santa Claus can’t find the way to Fond Parisien,” or something else. Widlene, one of our older girls, has been working with them, singing Christmas songs, and other wonderful things! She decided to have the smaller ones “write a letter to Santa.” (First time for this.) These letters were really cute and I wanted to share some with you… Here they are in their school uniforms with their “letters to Santa!”

Miliana (far left)

“Dear Santa,
Good morning! It’s a great day for me to write you this letter. It’s been a couple of years since I have asked you to come spend Christmas in Haiti. Please Santa, I’m asking you for some clothes… Please, and thank you.” – Miliana

Sandraline (next on left)
“Dear Santa,
Good morning! Today was supposed to be school, but given the country’s situation, we’re writing you letters. Since we’re on it, what I want for Christmas is a really nice Barbie Doll.” – Sandraline

Mackenson (middle child)
“Dear Santa,
Good morning! How are you? I hope you had a good day. I live in Haiti. The roads have been pretty bad lately. I think this problem can be resolved. What I want for Christmas this year is a little helicopter, with a controller. Thank you in advance.” – Mackenson

Daphline (next on right)
“Dear Santa,
Hi! Today is a real pleasure to write you this letter and send it to you in the Name of Jesus. I’m asking for Church dresses, thank you.” – Daphline

Mikalange (far right)
“Dear Santa,
Good morning! Today is a very nice day for me to write you this letter. Before I start, I want to salute you in the name of Jesus Christ. Since last year, I’ve been asking you to send me something… What I want for Christmas this year is nice tennis shoes. My size is 3. Thank you in advance. I love you!” – Mikalange
These children are so sweet, and of course, they know that Jesus is the “reason for the season!” God bless you, partners. Sherry
