Her mother died and her father could not take care of her and her brother Jacque. Sometimes, he would leave Fabiola and her brother to look for food, and would not come home. He finally gave them up to Social Services and they asked us to take them in.

Fabiola is 12 and is in 6th grade. She is one of the sweetest kids in the orphanage and always wants to help. She is always cooking, cleaning, or ironing!! Fabiola is one of the best students in her class. She loves to read! Although she is 12, she still loves “Barbie dolls!” She just loves them!! The kids gave her a name, “ti lok,” or “little rooster!!” We love her so much!!
