Little Samuel is now 7 years old and in 2nd grade. He had been left in horrible condition… and his mother was not able to care for him. We took him in, bought clothes for him, and raised him with our big family! Samuel is always smiling and always missing some teeth, but he is a happy little guy!

Some of his chores are watering the flowers, helping to feed the mules, and picking up trash. He is always smiling and always makes good grades in school… he’s “smart as a whip!” He says he wants to be a doctor, but we’ll see!

There is a Creole Proverb that says, “Your Face is Your Passport!” So, he will go far!
