We started our “Love A Child” Christian church when our land was donated several years ago.  We had not yet built any buildings on land, so we had built what people would call a “brush arbor” church made of palm leaves about 10 feet by 10 feet. We can well remember our first convert, “Reggie!” He is the young man over everything at Love A Child!” Then, one by one, people began to crowd the tiny brush arbor service! We finally decided to pray and believe God for the funds to build a large church!

We are packed full every Sunday! Haitians love to go to church, but they insist on wearing their best clothes! You would rarely see young men in jeans and never see a young lady in shorts. They would do their best to try to find “church clothes” to come and worship the Lord! Haitians love to sing and praise the Lord! As much as they can, they try to save back an offering and bring it to church on Sunday!
