The “Mud Cookie Village.”

Love A Child has a beautiful church in the village of Sapaterre, the “mud cookie village.” This is where we discovered that many of those “mud cookies” were being made and sold to hungry children. With your help, we distributed a lot of food there and later, had a huge crusade outdoors, where many people gave their hearts to the Lord, even the local witch doctor!

Pastor Joseph won so many people to the Lord, that we needed a church!! We are thankful to Donnie and Debbie of the Click Foundation for the building of this beautiful church, and later for the PA system, and recently, a room for Joseph and his family. He and his family lost their home to the gangs and now they are living in a room here in the church.

Special thanks to the Click family for this blessing and thanks to all our Love A Child friends who stood with us and helped with the feeding programs in this area! God has blessed us with “the best, giving, loving partners, who love us, and pray for us!” You bring tears to our eyes, we love you.
